Do you think resentment is at play in your marriage or relationship? Do you know how to deal with it? Resentment is something that comes up a lot in couples counselling and if left unchecked can become downright poisonous. But it can be conquered! You just need the right tools and mindset. In my newest video ‘How to Get Over Resentment in Your Marriage’ I will reveal all (scroll down to watch).
Hello friend! Wow! For us Canadians we are already through our Thanksgiving holiday and Halloween quickly approaches. I hope you are having a wonderful fall. The changing colors of the trees has been spectacular this year and the weather has been mostly beautiful. In the pic above you can see my eldest son out for a rainy fall walk at my parents farm.
And winter is coming…Despite the fact that October 31st is still a couple of weeks away I have already purchased two Christmas gifts! That is definitely an early buying record for me. I think all those Amazon Prime Day ads kicked me into gear! lol
Actually I’m trying to get a jump on things as we have a very special trip planned for the holiday season, and Christmas for myself and my immediate family will be quite different this year.
Anyhow back to the subject at hand!
Resentment and its sometimes complicated ins and outs.
In my most recent video (below), I discuss what resentment is, how it starts and what it can grow into, signs that resentment may be present in your marriage or relationship and how to eradicate it.
I also share a ‘Wonder Woman’ trick with you (it has to do with diamonds!) and two problematic issues to watch out for so you can ensure you have a peaceful relationship. Check it out below and make sure you watch right to the end so you don’t miss those 2 pitfalls.
The Research Interviews Continue! …Could you benefit from chatting with me?
As some of you may know I have been doing research interviews with women (and a few men) who are A) looking to improve their marriages, AND B) for those who are experiencing challenges in their marriage or long -term relationships but are unsure whether their relationship is actually fixable, AND C) for those who may be unsure whether they even want their marriage or relationship to continue AND D) for those who are separated from their spouse / significant other but would like to reconcile.
If any of the above scenarios sound like you (A,B,C,D), I would love to set up a research interview with you!
The research interviews are 1 hour in length, done over Zoom and the information gathered is being used for a future on-line program on healing marriage burnout / creating more joyous relationships.
Feedback from the interviews has been positive and I’ve been told its a bit like free therapy in that it provides a safe space to discuss what’s on your mind regarding your relationship. Of course it is all confidential.
I’ve done over 20 of these interviews so far and hope to do about 20+ more and every person I speak to brings something new and important to the table. This in turn, helps me to clarify my course content so I can offer the most crucial and effective tools for future participants of my on-line program on healing or moving on from your marriage / relationship.
You can book your free research interview through this calendar link.
For those of you that cannot relate to any of the above scenarios, if you know of someone who may benefit from speaking with me feel free to pass on my contact information- support@elizabethritchie.com
Thank- you!
OK that’s it from me.
Take care and enjoy the wonderful colors of October!
